Crypto markets shifted into gear towards the latter half of the week with BTC trading up to $48,100 and ETH rallying to $2,520. The majority of this rally took place during the Friday trading session as we saw strong ETF net inflows of $541.5m, the highest level since launch day.
Solana (SOL): +5.6%
Solana has seen a significant increase in bridging over the past 7 days, up 335%. The majority of funds have come from Ethereum and coincided with the JUP airdrop. Solana activity has been up lately as airdrop farming and trading have picked up due to the low fees
Frax Share (FXS): (-9.9%)
Frax launched its layer 2 network, Fraxtal. Fraxtal launched a restricted access mainnet for partner apps Friday. The mainnet is expected to be accessible to the public in the coming days and will have a handful of major dApps from mainnet already on it. Fraxtal is built on the OP stack.
Pendle (PENDLE): (-8.6%)
Yield trading platform Pendle crept up to $1b in TVL. Much of this TVL is a result of the ability to trade LRT’s using Pendle, which have recently blown up in popularity along with EigenLayer.
Ethereum Name Service (ENS): +19.2%
Ethereum Name Service has partnered with domain registrar GoDaddy to allow users to link their domain names to ENS, aiming to connect the DNS protocol used by all traditional websites with the blockchain-based names. The collaboration will bridge the gap between traditional DNS and blockchain technology, with no additional costs or technical expertise required for users. Linking DNS with ENS will provide over 20 million GoDaddy users with access to the benefits of ENS blockchain infrastructure such as receiving crypto payments.
Dymension (DYM): +47.9%
Dymension is a modular settlement layer that provides tools and infrastructure needed to easily launch “rollApps”. The platform’s initial “genesis rolldrop” event has drawn considerable interest from the blockchain community, with participation from over a million unique wallets. Over 528,000 wallets received an airdrop of DYM tokens valued at approximately $390 million. The initiative saw engagement from users across multiple ecosystems, including Solana, Celestia, and Ethereum scaling solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism, as well as from newer networks such as Base and Blast.
Syntropy (NOIA): +45.5%
Syntropy, a real-time Data Layer for Web3, announced the appointment of Daniel Haudenschild as its new CEO. Daniel was previously a partner at Ernst & Young, and has worked at Swisscom Blockchain, Origyn, SIBEX, and the Crypto Valley Association. Previous CEO Domas Povilauskas will transition into a new role focusing on the strategic integration of the company within the broader Web3 ecosystem.
